Age: 31
Started Crossfit: March 2011
Favorite/least favorite WOD, why: My least favorite WOD would have to be anything with burpees, thrusters, pull ups, running, box jumps or squatting... So almost any WOD. The air force WOD almost killed me. It kind of goes without saying I don't have a favorite. BUT I LOVE crossfit. I enjoy being pushed to my limits and testing my physical ability. While I don't look forward to the actual WODs, I love the feeling of accomplishment and complete exhaustion I get when I call time!
Diet: I eat mostly Paleo with dairy. I do cheat, but hey no ones perfect. After a month of forgoing Diet Pepsi for a challenge, I relapsed and need to go back into recovery. Since starting crossfit a year and a half ago, I've learned a lot about nutrition, the cleaner I eat, the better I feel, perform, and look!
Little known fact about me: I like to name inanimate objects. If you hear me talking about "Bruce" or " Dean" I am referring to my awesome coffee maker and my sexy car!
Best Moment: Hands down getting my kipping pull up. Never in a million years did I ever think I could do a pull up!
Anything else: When my husband first signed us up for crossfit, I questioned him because we already had a gym membership and I had no idea what crossfit was. I am so grateful he did. CFM is amazing. I have met so many fabulous people who push and encourage me! I love the "mommies" that come in the morning and no one makes me laugh like Lorgen. :) Melia is fabulous! She knows when to push me and when to let me fail and have a tantrum. I love that at CFM I'm not just a number or a paycheck to the coaches, they really want you to succeed and take pride in their coaching.
I LOVE the pic Kristin!! Keep up the great work!
